Bakoven’s beach is often overlooked in favour of the more trendy Camps Bay just minutes away, but make no mistake, Bakoven is one of the most sought after suburbs in Cape Town and the views from here are simply spectacular. Bakoven has been called Camps Bay’s baby sister, but its exclusivity and charming village-like feel that the neighbourhood has managed to maintain has been deliberately kept this way to avoid the constant hustle and bustle of its popular counterpart.  

As its name signifies, Bantry Bay lies perched on the rocks overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in one of the most exclusive bays on the Atlantic Seaboard. Crashing waves, magnificent sunsets and protection from the wind make Bantry Bay much sought after and, because of its position, an ideal base from which to explore Cape Town.

One of the most vibrant and popular suburbs in Cape Town, Camps Bay lies just beyond the four beaches of Clifton in an exceptionally beautiful setting amongst the Twelve Apostles and Lion’s Head, on the other side of Table Mountain. Homes up in the reaches of Lion’s Head offer fantastic views over the Atlantic and the bay is relatively calm during the summer months offering protection from the wind and pleasant swimming conditions.  

Clifton beach has something of a reputation with the trendy set in Cape Town and is a haven for international jetsetters. Together with its immaculate white sands and glistening water, their bronzing bodies and designer sunglasses grace Clifton’s 4th beach with sufficient glamour and eco-savvy to deserve not only the ‘see and be seen’ status it has acquired but its blue flag status as well. Riversdale is embraced by the Langeberg Mountain range and lies at the foot of the mountain peak known as "Sleeping Beauty"; an imposing mountain and well-loved landmark.
