City of Cape Town implemented changes to their rates clearance and rates refund systems with effect from 21 October 2014.
In the past changes to the rates clearance systems have invariably resulted in extreme delays.
While we are hoping that the new anticipated turnaround time of ten days between payment and issue of a clearance certificate can be relied upon, we have already started experiencing technical problems with regard to recent applications which will no doubt result in some delay.
We shall keep our clients advised of further developments.
